It is said in Vishnu Purana “Whatever fruits are begot by meditation in Krita Yuga, performing Sacrifices in Thretha Yuga and by worshipping in Dwapara Yuga can be had by Bhagwan Nama Sankeertanam (chanting Lord’s Name) in Kali Yuga”.
Nama Sankeertanam is endorsed and glorified by the vedas and vedic scriptures. Rama nama Sankeertanam can eradicate all sins. It is not limited or bounded by place or time. Caste, Creed, Gender or none is a hindrance for chanting Ramnam.
Great Seers have validated through successful demonstrations in their lives that repetitive chanting of Bhagwan Nama is the easiest and shortcut way to attain Moksha.
Coming in such seers tradition is Guru Maharaj Yogi Ramsuratkumar who lived with us in our recent past who breathed Ramnam until last.
Hailing from ardent Ram Baktha Family, and with the quest, thirst in spirituality, Mathaji Suchindram Rajalakshmi was blessed by Yogiramsuratkumar Maharaj with guidance to do Father’s Work - “You do my father’s work. You beg Ram Nam for this beggar. Don't forget the divine name. My father blesses” in the year 1998. Ever since that time, Mathaji Rajalakshmi has been completely and sincerely involved in Ramnam Yagna, propogation of Ramnam in every nook and corner. Likhit Japam was also motivated in people / children , by way of distributing free notebooks, sheets for writing Ram Nam and gifts/rewards were given as a token of appreciation and motivation. Chanting of Ram nam was organized and held in different premises like temples, devotees residence etc. Habituating the practise of Writing Ramnam as a daily discipline has been instilled by Mathaji in the lives of many.
There was a Divine Wish in the mind of Mataji in the year 2010 to install 1008 crores (Maha Sankalp) Ram Nam as a dedication to the Divine Master Yogi Ram Suratkumar Maharaj who breathed throughout only Ram Nam in His Avatar.
An exclusive Ram Nam Mandir was erected in an area of 1800 sq.ft in the premises of the ashram itself. Necessary racks for installation of the namas were specially designed and erected with complete fabrication for protection and 1008 crores ram nam was installed stage by stage as guided by Kanchi Maha Swamigal Sri Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi.
It is indeed a miracle of the arrival of 1008 crores of ramnam in such a short time span. The Divine Sankalp was in the year 2010 , and 1008 crores pradhishta got completed in the year 2016 and the flow of Ramnam is still on to Sri Raghavashram from different part of the world. The installation was made as and when 108 crores of Ramnam accumulated as instructed by Kanchi Mahaswami Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal.
Entry into the Mandir fills the minds with the Divine presence of 7ft tall Yoga Anjaneya and the complete works of Ramayan. It is just like entering to Ram Lokha with reverberation of Ram Nam in the mind. Parikrama / Pradakshina of the Ram Nam will destroy all our sins and liberates us from the cycle of birth and death.
MIRACLES IN 1008 CRORES RAM NAM PRADHISHTA
“Would collecting and installing 1008 crores of Ramnam be possible before my lifetime?” remained a big question in the mind of Mathaji after her Divine Sankalp of 1008 crores Nama Pradhishta in the year 2010 when only 62 crores Ram Nam was available at Sri Raghavashram. It was going only in a slow pace initially however Her prayers to Guru Maharaj Yogiramsuratkumar started becoming more strong. Then another 30 crores accumulated in 2011 with a total of 92 crores. There was not a single propaganda or advertiment as always, as Mathaji never wished for it all but only a divine communication between Her and Guru in the mode of Prayer.
Mathaji visits Kanchi Mutt every year to seek the blessings of Maha Periyava. When she expressed her thoughts to Sri Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, he was overwhelmed and said that the village Kolathur where Sri Raghavashram is situated is a really lucky place where the Divine has chosen this place to abode the Divine Mother Gomatha and the Divine Name Rama Nama and appreciated the good work of Mathaji and asked her to receive the first Ram Nam Biksha of 2 crores for the pradhishta from His Holiness Himself and gave all the Namas submitted to the Mutt and Subsequently as per the instructions of His Holiness the Mutt kept sending all the collected Namas through devotees to Raghavashram. He also instructed Mathaji to do the Pradhishta as and when collected. (every 108 crores). His Holiness also instructed to distribute printed sheets to the schools so as to enable students inculcate the habit of writing Ramnam everyday. As instructed, Shankara group of schools, Vivekananda group of schools and many such were distributed with Ram nam sheets and collected after duly completed. By then, another 14 crores Ram Nam got collected. Totally 108 crores were there. They were all counted and packed as 50 lakhs per bundle with preservatives and 3 layer packing. Local village downtrodden women were employed and the process was done. Likewise the mission started expanding gradually and reached the awareness of many devotees . In the meanwhile, as ordained by His Holiness Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, the first 108 Crores Ram Nam Pradhishta was done in the year 2012. Shri Muralidhara Swamigal presided the function.
Having heard about the Ram Nam Mission of Sri Raghavashram many Baktha Mandals such as Sri Ram Naam Sankeertan Mandal of Dehradun, Ujjain, and many parts of Northern India, Ayodhya Shri Ram Baktha Samaj, Swami Kriparam Maharaj (96 years old) of Gita Bhavan sent their representatives to understand about Sri Raghavashram all the way down to the South from places like Rishikesh, Ayodhya, Ujjain etc. They got awestruck by the spirit, energy and the devotion of Mathaji and Her activities solely. They took pictures of Raghavashram, goshala, Mathaji and showed to Shri Kriparam Maharaj (96 years old Swami who had dedicated Himself in Ram nam and Ram Bhakthi). He was extremely happy and decided to honour Her personally during Ganga Matha Jayanthi celebrations in June with 650 crores of Ram Nam that he had been collecting from devotees which were meant to be left in Ganges. He insists Bakthas to preserve Ramnam , a powerful gathering of Bakthas faith and devotion and its power is enormous. Mathaji warmly accepted Kriparam Maharaj’s invitation and made necessary travel arrangements. This took place in the year 2013 during which the heavy rains and flood lashed Uttarkhand and all the flight were cancelled due to which Mathaji was unable to travel. 650 crores of RamNam which was supposed to be handed over to Mathaji were kept in Gita Bhawan in puja and apparently the 96 year old Maharaj stayed with the namas only with his wife. People were asked to evacuate from their premises to escape from the approaching danger. However Kriparam Maharaj refused to leave the Ramnam and move . He believed in the power of Ramnam and said even if Ganga Matha gushes inside , he will be happy to leave the world along with Her and the Divine Ram Nam. Such was his devotion. Therefore all the Bakthas who had gathered for the function too stayed with Maharaj. To everyone’s astonishment, when the flood water gushed into Rishikesh and wiped off many places and people, not a drop entered into the abode where the Divine Ram Nam (650 crores) which was supposed to be reaching Sri Raghavashram was kept. What a Wonder!!! What a Miracle!!! What more is required to explain the Power of the Divine Ram Nam!!! A few days after the situation settled a little bit, the Ram nam were loaded in a carrier and the yathra began from Rishikesh. The travel was via Delhi. When the Ram Nam reached the outskirts of Delhi, there was another gush of Ma Yamuna in and around that area during that time. The travel took more than the usual time as the roads were disconnected, no electricity, rains everywhere. Inspite of the overwhelming reactions of the Nature, The Divine Ram Nam reached Sri Raghavashram in the first week of August. Apparently, not knowing about the arrival of Ram nam that day, Mathaji , as already planned, started off to her monthly trip to Kanchi Mutt for Ramnam Bhiksha from His Holiness. During which time she got a call from the carrier agent that Ram nam was on its way to Sri Raghavashram shortly. Necessary arrangement as instructed by mathaji were made at Sri Raghavashram to receive the Divine Naama. The huge truck with 650 crores of Ram Nam reached. The highlight here is “not a single book of Ram Nam was drenched or wet” inspite of crossing the disastrous rain and flood. Subsequently Satha Koti Ram nam Pradhishta was done every year, duly packed, presided by Spiritual leaders like Hindu Munnani Ramagopalji, Sri Pithukuli Murugadas, Sri Mukthanand ji of Anandashram etc. Now Sri Raghavashram abodes Sahasra Koti Ram Nam (1008 crores Ram Nam) with His Grace, a Divine Mission in an unimaginable short span.
