The purpose of human life is to break this bondage of life after life and for attaining eternal liberation (moksha) from bondage of karma. It is for the purpose of becoming 'Absolute'-fully enlightened; to acquire Self-realisation are we born again and again. And if one does not use the opportunity to attain the knowledge of Self-realisation, the purpose of that birth and life remains incomplete.
Yogibaba’s (Yogi Ramsuratkumar) main goal in life was to give happiness to all who met him. He never thought about his own happiness. He was always looking for ways to ease other people's miseries. That is the reason compassion and the extraordinary, divine, spirituality manifested within him.
Yogibaba has given many comprehensive explanations of unfailing methods for one to fulfil their life's goal through remembering Almighty. This eternal happiness however is only attained through Self-realisation.
Teaching of Yogibaba (Yogi Ramsuratkumar)
Yogibaba says, “Soul is eternal and infinite and a spark from our Father(Almighty). Always remember Him. Every man born on this earth is but an incarnation of God. The difference between one person and another lies only in the degree of divine manifestation. Saints and seers simply go ahead and others only lag behind in this divine manifestation. Fortunately Great Masters always protect this Holy land. Whatever work you do for your comfort in this world, do all the work but keep your mind always on the Almighty, the creator of all things and you can never go wrong.
To tell you the truth, the whole humanity exists only because of the vedas, the veda mantras and the Great Masters. In this ancient Holy Land, many Great Masters have come and always some Great Master or other exists here. In fact this Holy Land Bharata Desam is only the playground of Great Masters.
You should try to realise yourself; you should always try to move in the right direction shown by the Great Masters. If you have one realised soul, he will show the way, the right path, to the whole universe, the whole humanity. If you do not protect the Holy men, you are doing nothing for humanity. The whole humanity exists because of the sadhus. To tell you the truth, the Law exists only because of the sadhus. Spirituality cannot be there by reading books and by tapas. It has to come from Master to disciple.
In India from ancient times, the Yogis and the spiritual teachers have been guiding their pupils and disciples and have been teaching them the ways to develop the psychic powers, which would make them realise about themselves, but very few go near God. By sadhana one goes onwards only, if not in this life, it helps in the next subsequent births and so on.
Identification that I am the body should stop. My Father alone lives in this body. When this succeeds, the soul gets release. The soul is powerful and all pervading. The soul has neither birth nor death. Invisible power is shaping the life of all, based on the previous birth Karma. The physical body is perishable. That is why I am asking you to identify yourself with the Atman.
Through our Sadhana (spiritual pursuit) we should learn to look at life as a totality. In this Universe, everything is related. The Sun, The Moon, The trees, this house, you and me … all are related. Any single movement of any one of them is bound to affect the entire cosmos. Invisible power is connecting all together according to his destiny. People should realise this and act morally and responsibly as laid down in the codes of all religions, nations . One has to realise that one's conduct is responsible for the peace and well-being of the entire World.
The most essential and important thing in our life is that we should have faith in God, absolute faith in God. If we do not have Guru Bhakti and faith in God, whatever we may possess is of no use. If we have Guru Bhakti and the Blessings of the Guru, then it is more than sufficient and it is more than what we can possess materially in this world. But it is not easy to get Guru, a spiritual Master. It may take, sometime, many births to get a spiritual Master. But we must be happy that at least by Father’s Grace, we have got a desire to get a GURU and to come up in spiritual life.”
To follow His teaching, first we should train ourselves to give less importance to the body and more importance to the Self. The body is always undergoing changes from childhood to old age and it dies one day and we ourselves are the witness to all those changes. We must understand this clear distinction and get detachment from all commitments in this world.
What is important to become detached? One can renounce the fruits of actions. Once a certain path is chosen for oneself after due deliberation, then it must be followed till the end. As long as one is in a body, it is one’s duty to follow this path. People are entangled in worldly affairs and they do so for the sake of petty gains, but that is not real. The real joy lies in the divine feelings. All actions attain the highest spiritual character carrying us to the extraordinary power in the selfless and desire less form. It really blesses both the individual and the society.
The mind is crowded with unlimited thoughts of affairs, happenings in the outside world. Concentration of the mind is impossible until all those thoughts are out. The mind and sense organs put together are called ego. However, there is no physical distance between the two, which are always together. Sorrow and stress afflict the human mind only because of our failing to understand and claim our original and real nature. Even if the spiritual practices are done with sincerity and faith for realisation, the result will not come unless with the grace of one’s guru.
Yogibaba says,”Mahans (Guru) are not born every day. One in a million may come once, with a great intervals of time. It is sufficient if you have one Realised soul (Guru) according to Lord Krishna, and the one man who has obtained Poornatwam will be able to show the way, the correct path, to the whole universe. He will give birth to crores and crores of devout souls in the Universe. We must always have complete, absolute and full faith in our Great Masters(Guru) that can do anything, anywhere and at any time. Nothing is impossible for Him.
If you are seeking truth for yourself, then there is no any spiritual practice without surrendering to your Great Master(Guru). He will guide you to identify yourself. Yogibaba had given an assurance that He will protect us and destroy bad elements.
God is Truth and pervading everywhere. The body is perishable. That is why I am asking you to identify yourself with the Athman. You are all Powerful., You are All-knowing, You are all Bliss. Don’t be negative. If you are negative, everything is lost. Have hope. You are the ATMAN. Say that to yourself. Say that for years together. Then see what happens.”
